Exams!

  A few days ago,I received my exam results.:(It was bad for language and I think I need to work harder for it.Therefore,I am go to set up plans to improve my language.I might want to read more books and newspapers.:)I might also want to try and speak more of English not Singlish.;)Most importantly,practice writing!For my other subjects,there was not much of a problem.:)

Sooooooooooooo saD......

  Well at least it is the end of exams now!:P A few days ago,I was down with a bad flu,cough and tummy ache.(I cannot bear it!)Those were the exam days!I am always sick in the exam period and I do not know why.My mum urged me to study but I did not want to.The reason for this is that I am real lazy.But nevertheless,I have to follow her 'orders' and study.In fact, I am that tired and did not sleep well and nearly wake up every midnight.
  The exams have all passed and I can have the''Post-exam freedom!".English comprehension  is rather difficult and I just hope my paper is okay.For Mother Tongue,I think I did quite badly for compo.(Just hope that the teacher who marks it is lenient!)Physics is quite difficult for me this time.(I hope my conversion of units is correct!)Other subjects are quite okay.~

Do not be a litterbug!

  I cannot believe that this is the first time I have ever gone to Woodlands Waterfront!I jumped with joy.Come to think of this trip,I am really happy not only for the CIP hours awarded :) but also the fun everyone had there.The only part that I detest most is the aftermath of walking.I had a sore back and legs!Overall,it was great!
 Everyone assembled in the Parade Square of our school and waited for the signal of the teacher on when to walk to Woodlands Waterfront.The Sun was shining at its brightest and all the heated tiles of the Parade Square produced unbearable heat.OUCH!(when I sat on the tiles.)
  Finally,after a long wait,our class is signalled to go and we started walking out from the main entrance of our school.Chatters could be heard everywhere,the atmosphere was lively.
  Everyone finally reached Woodlands Waterfront,took a class photo and went to our class' so called "base" where we put our belongings.(It was only a shelter.)Soon,we started cleaning up.While picking up the litter in Woodlands Waterfront Park,I realised that there were a lot of cigarette buds,plastic bags full of rainwater,beer bottles and some wiry metal pieces(I do not know why they end up there.Probably because of barbecue.).I received a rude shock as I realised that there a lot of litterbugs!How can they litter in such a nice place for everyone to enjoy and have fun?They should have thought of the consequences that littering is an offence!It also pollutes places and may cause harm to others like a lighter(dangerous hazard;flammable substance),which I found.We should always keep our environment clean and green.Moreover,it is a public place!
  While travelling back home,I felt tired but learnt new things.We should think in the point of view of cleaners that cleaning is a tough job and should not litter.It may be a hassle for you by throwing just one tissue by walking to the nearest bin but it will take a long time for the cleaner to clean tonnes of tissue littered on the floor!(Okay, exaggerating but if it were to happen, it is true!)Remember,littering is an offence and we too do not want to pollute the beautiful places of Mother Earth!Therefore,everybody has to play a part by not littering!Let us work towards a cleaner and greener Singapore!:)

A Rather boring weekend~

  This is finally the weekend!YIPEE!YAY!=)Well,at least I am going to enjoy my weekend.But contradictory,I did not.(IT WAS SOOOO BORING)No games to play but, HOMEWORK,HOMEWORK and more HOMEWORK!:(Arhh... no time to play at all!
  On Friday,I did homework.
  On Saturday I did homework again but in the afternoon,I went to North Point Shopping Centre.Well,this is no good at all!I don't really like shopping and furthermore,I was there to buy my school shoes.(which I took a long time to choose.)Shops after shops,the school shoes I want don't have my size or the colour does not fit and the patterns are to fanciful for me!I don't like fanciful things!Not to mention I was sick and kept sneezing and sneezing.(Tissue please,tissue please!)Finally,I picked on a shoe which is real expensive.I cannot bear to part with my precious money!It costed my mum $80(after discount)!Then my mum said that it is a trackshoe,it is a normal price and I am going to wear it for years!(I am kind of moneyminded though.._.|||)I am super happy with my shoe.It has a velvety sole which is really soft and cushiony.The shoe itself is really comfortable though.After a long and tiring search (for shoes), we went back home.
  Sunday,it was the same,homework again.I wake up fresh in the morning and ate the Post Selects Blueberry Morning cereal(scrumptious) and started doing my homeworks!

My September Holidays.(summarised)

  During my September holidays,I (of course)did my homework,played games and attended some courses.While doing my homework in my room,I felt very tired and went out to the living room to drink some water.To my annoyance,my family was playing the newly bought Wii games and having a whale of their time.Without hesitation,I went forward to look at the screen of the game as I too was addicted to it.A familiar voice told me to go back to my room to do my homework.*Sigh*It was my father.I could not defy him and followed his instructions.An hour later,I did the same procedure and he too did the same as before. *Sigh again*How I wish I could go and play the Wii.
  The next few days,I attended the SANA course which was about Anti-drugs abuse.SANA stands for Singapore Anti Narcotics Bureau and from there I learnt how drugs are really harmful to not only our health but also our entire life.We should never ever touch any drugs which can ruin our lives and also cause grievances to our family members too.Therefore,we should say''NO'' to drugs!
  I attended the Civil Defence course as well and got to learn life saving skills in practical situations.The officers taught us how to handle stretchers to carry a casualty in case of emergencies,use bandages for an injured person and perform CPR.Some people may say it is disgusting but it is actually essential in case of emergency and may save lives.
  Overall,the September holidays was okay and I truly enjoyed playing the newly bought Wii console.=)

My weakness in English

  For the subject English,I think that most of my problems lies in it.I usually have a lot of expression errors and tend to write tenses wrongly in Paper 1.
  For comprehension,sometimes, I just could not find out the main points for factual questions and think for infence questions.My vocabulary is also not that good,thus I need more practice and revision.
  When doing summary,I rushed and of course I did not get really good results.Finding the points of summary needs a lot of time and my writing is slow. Therefore I am left with very little time to check too.Checking is important and I really need to plan my time doing the papers wisely. 
  Picture discussion and conversation are also an enormous problem.While doing Picture discussion,I kept stammering and tried thinking but my mind is in a whirl.While facing the examiner,I feel butterflies in my stomach and my feet will turn cold.Conversation is also a great problem as I always run out of ideas and things to talk about.
  In conclusion,I will work harder for English and achieve 'A's for SA2!
                                                                           I hope that I will have flying colours for my English results!

A Fun-filled Day

  One weekend afternoon,I went to the NTUC chalet at Downtown East with my father and brother.We went there to celebrate my cousin's birthday.It rained heavily in the afternoon and my family had to take a taxi there due to the long distance and the prawns we had brought for the barbecue party at night.The taxi driver was meticulous in driving,which I noticed.
  We reached there and luckily, it stopped raining.I played with my cousin and my cousin's cousins.(A little bit confusing)We had a great fun!My cousin's cousins then insisted on going to the playground and I followed her there.My two cousins also wanted to tag along and so,they followed us.At the playground,I was shocked!My cousin's cousins did dangerous acts!I tried to stop them but instead they challenged other kids in the playground to do dangerous acts which they thought was a feat.Later,one of my cousins who was three, got tired and wanted to go back to the chalet room to sleep.
  In the room,we tried to lower down our noise level by watching a show on the channel:Okto.
  My cousin soon slept.Not long after,we started the barbecue party.I helped a little in starting the fire and started fanning at the fire source.The fire got bigger and we started barbecuing the chicken wings,hot dogs etc.Although tiring,it was very fun to prepare the food for others!:)
  We ate satay,curry chicken which somebody else brought and green,yellow,red peppers!Yum!Delicious!;The finale was the ''Angry Birds'' cake which my birthday cousin's Auntie had brought.It was homemade and the ingredients of the cake was fresh and the whole thing was really yummy!What great culinary skills!
  After eating the cake,we had some fun playing a card game and went home.What a day!
